Range commands exist so everyone can act together. Learn them before handling anything.
What to remember
- Ask what hot range, cold range, cease fire, downrange, bench, and case mean at that facility.
- When a cease-fire command is given, stop immediately and follow range instructions.
- Never assume commands are identical at every range.
